TSA Needs our help!
The Salvation Army has asked for the help of the Longhorn Council’s Scouts as several of our local food banks are in desperate need of any and all non-perishable food item donations.
I gave them my word that Pack 317 would answer this call for help!
They are needing:
Please be bringing donations either to April Driggers home OR to your den leaders’ home. If you would like to bring your donation to Thursday night’s leader’s meeting – that would be great as well. And a final place to donate – we will have a table set up at Blue & Gold for families, scouts and dens that continue to collect to bring those donations there. That will be the LAST collection day and drop off place. The day following our Blue & Gold (Sunday, February 28) the donations will need to be delivered to their center. If I have any parent volunteers willing to drive the donations, please let me know otherwise, I will do it myself to get our donation to the center in a timely manner.
Please remember that we are all here to help our fellow neighbors… and seeing that they have a great need for forumula — we are also helping those that can’t help themselves. Remember, too, no donation is too small… everything adds up to be something big and wonderful… Please be generous with your donations and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your giving spirit!
Your Cubmaster,
April Driggers
