Howdy Pack 317!

Our camping trip is quickly coming up and we wanted to give you new campers some time to gather your equipment. Cub Scout Camping is easy. We will be parked close by to our tent sites – we will be cooking together for most of the trip and there are some limited supplies that we can share. All members of the family are invited to participate.

Registration – We will be registering for the Camp Out at the November 12th Pack Meeting.

What you need to bring for registering:

1. $25.00 Per Family Registration fee (pays for campsites and food).

2. Number of persons attending the camp.

3. Health forms A&B for EACH member of your family attending. All adults, scouts and children need a form filled out. Get the forms here: HEALTH FORMS LINK

What else do you need to know:

Activities – We will have a tour of the historic fort as well as time to work as dens on our camping and outdoor activities. Bicycles (with helmets) are encouraged as long as rules of the road are followed. There are hiking trails and other fun things to do.

Food – Families arriving Friday Night are encouraged to do dinner on their own. The Pack Committee will be working on a menu for Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Breakfast. Please let us know of particular food restrictions so we can plan accordingly. The Pack Committee will be meeting at 7:00pm on Wednesday November 11th at the Kroger Marketplace (Starbucks area) on North Tarrant Parkway at Precinct Line Road in North Richland Hills to finalize the menu and responsibilities.
